Dora Township is located in Otter Tail County, Minnesota.  The county seat is in Fergus Falls, MN.

The township was organized in 1879. It is named after Sedelia Isadora "Dora" (Woodruff) Thomas, the wife of Ellis L. Thomas, one of Dora Township's founding fathers (Source: Wikipedia).

As of the 2000 census, there were 726 people, 305 households, and 239 families residing in Dora township.

The township consists primarily of farmland and lakes.  Major lakes are: Alice, East Silent, East Spirit, Hoffman, Round, Sybil, West Silent, West Spirit.

The town board consists of one chairman, two supervisors, a clerk and a treasurer.
